Hopefully not mis-spelling anything today and potentially offending any famous singing curmudgeons :) Let’s have suggestions for pre-gig pubs, offers of lifts, spare beds, cheap digs, spare tickets, cheapest ticket website, that type of thing.

Not sure if anyone from these parts is going but so far as boozing goes, Hartigan's pub on Leeson Street is a 5 minute walk and has great Guinness.

If you like your craft beer, Against The Grain is pretty good and is just across the road and down a bit from Whelan's. They also serve food although I've never eaten there.

Rick's Burgers is good if you're after a decent burger and is about 10 minutes walk from the venue on Dame Street, near The Olympia and the opposite side of the road.
