As is traditional, I'll do a bunch of threads for the upcoming tour, so y'all can make suggestions for pre-gig pubs (we're looking at you for this one, Cawseetiger), offers of lifts, spare beds, cheap digs, spare tickets, cheapest ticket website, that type of thing.

I've had a look at the venue's website, no ticket links there, so looks like the Songkick choices in the live page link.

Early doors due to student disco after, and the mighty Mush are supporting, so get down early.
Do it for the Butthole Surfers.

This should be fun – a Saturday afternoon out in Norwich.

I believe we have a local resident, also called Craig, who will no doubt be able to recommend some good places, but I spend quite a bit of time in Norwich myself and have come to like some of the pubs very much. I'd recommend the following:

— My favourite is The Plasterers Arms and I would rate this as an essential stop, also has food: http://www.theplasterersarms.co.uk
— There are three Fat Cats, with the best two being the original Fat Cat and the Fat Cat Brewery Tap. http://www.fatcatpub.co.uk and http://fatcattap.co.uk
— For the real ale crowd, other good places are the White Lion, King's Head. The White Lion does food. https://www.individualpubs.co.uk/whitelion and http://www.kingsheadnorwich.com
— The Belgian Monk is legendary – wide range of Belgian beer and hearty food. I would advise that booking a table may be necessary if you wanted to eat, as it can get very busy. http://www.thebelgianmonk.com/foodmenu.html
— Other good places for cheap-ish and quick food are Ruth's Jerusalem Kitchen, Moorish Falafel Bar, Grosvenor Fish Bar (fish & chips). If you like meat... sorry, I can't help.
— For a late drink after the gig, I would recommend the Bicycle Shop (also does good food), although it is not near the Waterfront. https://www.thebicycleshopcafe.com

The closest pub to the venue (as far as I know) is a large Wetherspoon called the Queen of Iceni.

I'd be glad to lead a tour around some of these pubs in the afternoon and in fact that's what I intend to do myself, so just let me know if you want to join me.

The White Lion, Plasterer's and King's Head all have a bar billiards table (and there are other pubs with bar billiards tables too).
What are you artists from Manchester doing in Morecambe?

trains permitting we'll be in town just after 4 and out for fun times soon after.
And I asked, "Are you dreaming about a crow?"
And there she was....
