Church, Leeds, Friday 7 April

Postby pomfob » Mon Feb 27, 2017 8:06 pm

Sorry about the gap since posting London & Bristol. I've had bronchitis and haven't been arsed about much beyond coughing & feeling shit.

Anyway, enough of me...

Suggestions for pre-gig pub, offers of lifts, spare beds, cheap digs, spare tickets, cheapest ticket website, that type of thing.

Adopted hometown gig for me, so I bought the ticket from Crash Records. Probably worth looking into anyway, and Jumbo of course.

Should anyone be driving from Bristol to Leeds, well then, if there's a space, please consider me as a passenger. Housetrained and usually well behaved.

And in the same spirit, if anyone needs somewhere to stop over in Leeds, I've a spare room. Don't expect a lie in though, as I'll be off to Newcastle fairly early on Saturday.

And a slightly left-field suggestion for any early birds wanting to meet up pre-gig...The Brudenell. The pies are nice, the beer is excellent. It will fill up as the evening progresses as there are 2 gigs on & it's a Friday night, but teatime-ish it'll be fine.

I'm doing National Express as ther'e one back to Sheffield a bit after midnight (the trains are rubbish) - but will trundle out for pre-gig booze and pie. Especially pie.

Oh noooo! Just found out today. Me and a friend was all set to go to Leeds, got a short leave from work, flight tickets bought, room booked... and I thought tickets werent released yet... Anyone knows alternative solutions? If it's possible to buy tickets at the venue?

Afraid not, it's completely sold out. It's usual that one or two spares pop up closer to the date, so keep watching round here. And of course there's Crash & Jumbo, our two local independent record stores. They might have some returns - in the past they've kept a list of people after particularly hot tickets, so it might be worth contacting them and mentioning you're travelling over. They may take pity on you...

Thanks Pomfob!

I´ve contacted both record stores now, hopefully they have a solution.

Spare for Leeds, though may already be gone.

Futuresound, the promoters of the Leeds show have confirmed the support is indeed Rogue Emperor.
