What singles would you deliver up your life for?

Mine:

Party Fears Two - The Associates
New Rose - The Damned
"You don't get that sort of carry-on at an Arcade Fire show."

I'll go with Billy Mac's Magnum Opus and Gloria Jones' Tainted Love.

Where's me sequins?

This will change too often, but for the last few months I'd be quite happy with these:

Martha & The Muffins - Echo Beach
T Rex - Metal Guru

Party Fears Two already seems oversubscribed, so I'll go for...

Ceremony - New Order
Once in a Lifetime - Talking Heads
Kevo or Matthew Wood? Malevolence or good?

Like Foxy, I wouldn't give my life for any record, album or single, but I wouldn't mind suffering minor bruising for:

New Order - Blue Monday.

and to make up the pair, I'll go with Martin's Echo Beach.

BTW on the subject of death & records I recall many moons ago the NME nominating Hendrix's Electric Ladyland the only record worth killing for.

I have to say, this thread has made me put on The Associates - Sulk again, which PF kindly bought me as some competition prize a couple of years back now. What a stunning (and largely under-rated today) record that is!

What version is it tho? There are two 'Sulk's' with completely different track listings (one was originally the US version - which later bizarrely became the first version over here to be released on CD).
