Hi all,

To mark the 100th anniversary of The Armistice I have released 'Black Crosses in the Snow' as a charity download-only single. 100% of my revenue share (85% of the total revenue generated) will go to local charitable organisation Care for Veterans (formerly The Queen Alexander Hospital Home) in Worthing.....

Thanks for reading,

Darren

It's an atmospheric and slightly unsettling tune (that's meant as a compliment).

I just had more of a proper (but still distracted) listen to the latest album and Undersong is my favourite. It reminds me of Collapse Under The Empire who I've probably mentioned before - I love their guitar-heavy tunes and the atmosphere they generate: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgMaNhK2Rnk

Ah cheers man, that was the feel I was going for with the track.

Thanks, Undersong is a few people's favourites. Not sure if I've listened to Collapse... before but I will (again) now.

Two of those tracks remind me of some music from Shadowman, a game I played on the N64. They sound perfect for a dark game or film soundtrack.

Nice, thanks, I certainly would object to any of my stuff being used for such. Know any developers / filmmakers / producers? :o) I've speculatively sent me stuff to a few film and TV companies but no bites as yet, I live in hope though.

I do have a couple of filmmaker friends as it happens. Have you added your music to any of the licensing websites?

That's interesting mate, do Spotify, Apple Music etc count? If so, yes (I know very little about this side of the business as you can tell).

This looks a good article, though it's from a filmmaker's point-of-view, so they may not be the best-paying markets: https://filmmakerfreedom.com/blog/stock ... wdown-2019
