Public Image Limited, at the Shepherd's Bush Empire, were great. I hadn't expected them to be quite as good as that.

Three great gigs there so far this year, PiL, Laura Marling, and BSP.

Saw them a couple of years ago in Glasgow. There were excellent.
Slightly annoyed that I managed to miss their recent tour - especially as the Selector were the support.

The Selecter were very enjoyable support - a great set of songs, a very tight band, and both Pauline Black and Gaps Hendrikson were in good voice and full of energy. They were given a 45 minute plus set and had full sound, no dirty tricks played to make the headline band sound better in comparison, which was good for PiL. They had to work hard, and work hard they did.
