I think that may well have been the most enjoyable BSP / SP gig I've ever attended. Band on super, enthusiastic form, terrific set, wonderful atmosphere. And a great opening act to boot, the lovely Penelope Isles.

The O2 Institute2 is just round the corner from the venue they played in Brum last time, The Crossing. Similar size IIRC.

The only disappointment was that Penny Isles didn't play their best tune, 'Chlorine'. Wonderful night, can't wait for Sheffield.

Has to be said they really are on form this tour, Roundhouse last night also, great sound.

I think having a long time to bed in the new songs has really helped them live, they sound like old friends already ..
