Over the years I've seen the band a dozen or so times, mainly the various Manchester gigs, plus a few Christmas specials. Last years Birmingham Sea of Brass provided the epiphany moment for the eldest, and since then he's joined me as we've branched further afield culminating in 4 of the recent dates, the Northern (England) leg, plus last night. I think Leicester will be his 10th date, Wrexham my 25th.

The wonderful music is of course the main draw, but honestly I'd like to say thanks and see you soon to the lovely people we've met over the last few months, for saying welcome in as we bumped in to you in various bars, streets and sweat boxes, and the folks who helped me scrape bits of my glasses off the floor at Newcastle. It was ultimately futile, but your concern was appreciated.

A unique band with a truly unique following, I hope to see you all soon..

Allons y!
