I am no grumpier than I always have been, that is to say I am extremely grumpy and HATE everything and everybody (YES YOU) but thats always been the case.
I still work in a local authority library, but contrary to what you may read in the Observer we are expanding rather than closing, indeed we are buikding a new branch, and our issues and usage figures continue to rise bucking the national trend.
I probably currently read more than I ever have, still mainly detective novels but the odd bit of non fiction.
I havent ridden a bike that moves, ie not an exercise one in the gym, for over 35 years, I am however starting to exercise for the first time in 3 years having had injections from the persistent pain clinic which have had amazing effects on my back.
I don't owe anybody anything.
I have bought all BSP records but prefer them live.
I occasionally speak to Ethyl and other olde worlde BSP fans on that there facebook
My partner watched Downton but I thought it was shit. Best thing on tv is the re-runs of Jeeves and Wooster
I do like university challenge because I can show off by getting questions right, but it has been spoiled for me by actual people I actually know being on it, and getting more questions right than me.
I'm generally looking for my glasses, I'm nearly 50 you know.
you lot are a complete army of c*nts!

I’m still as dour and grumpy as ever.

I am currently one of the great unwashed jobless, my stint at the bfi having ended. I have no idea what to do next, my preference at the moment is to use my remaining redundancy money from The Times to spend my days alternating between sitting on the sofa and staring out of the window.

I am reading the same book I was reading three months ago, my preference at the moment being films rather than literature.

I haven’t cycled since I almost died coming off my bike when I was 15.

England is mine and it owes me (and Skinku) a living.

I have mostly everything including every BSP mug and the BSP chocolate from 2002 (uneaten).

If my job prospects worsen, Ethyl has offered me accommodation with the cows in return for mucking out duties.

Never watched Downton and have no desire to do so. I once danced with Helena Bonham-Carter. Is she in it?

Inspired by James’ and Tristan’s star performances on UC, Angela Johnny Cannon and I are thinking of forming a Third Battalion team to compete on Eggheads.

I am currently looking for the tin opener.
Kevo or Matthew Wood? Malevolence or good?

I am still a closet grumpmeister, always slightly more tired than i would rather be.

still work as a pensions lawyer, but longer hours than in 2003

I read non fiction - for some reason I'm a bit scared of picking up a novel.

Haven't ridden a bike since my ten speed racer was stolen from the railings outside Whitechapel rd post office in 1980

I don't think I owe anybody anything, but who knows.

I have bought all BSP records

I occasionally exchange a few comments with BSP fans on facebook
never watched Downton. spend more time at the National Film Theatre watching old filums

university challenge - don't have the inclination these days..

generally not looking for anything

I'm not grumpy. I was between the ages of 19-22 for some reason. Since I started transcendental meditation I don't think I'm in any danger of becoming grumpy as my blood pressure has returned to normal and I no longer need to eat a pack of Rennies a day.

I still try to cure the mentally ill, and assist the autistic. I'm beginning to feel guilty about having 2 jobs in the current climate.

I've brung A Brief History of Time on my holidays but it remains beyond my understanding.

I bought most of the BSP long playing records, but today I'm mostly looking froward to seeing Alabama 3 tonight on the last day of my holiday.

I like looking at my bikes. The last one I acquired is a lovely 60s Raleigh that I got off Freecycle (lol)

I had a brief email exchange with beforetheflood which was very pleasant, even though I didn't understand much of what she said

I am singler than I used to be.
I only work one day a week.
I am trying to read more since I finished my last OU module.
I don't cycle much, and my knees are feeling better since I have been going to the hospital with my shitty knees.
I still love Sea Power and have all the albums.
I still talk to most people via facebook, which is a substitute for my poor social life.
I watch no TV.
I saw Tristan on University challenge and James the year before, and cheered them on.
I generally am in a panic about how adrift I feel with life.

I am no grumpier than I used to be. I often get to 10am at work before swearing, depending what [redacted] has been blethering on about this time.
Work persists.
I seem mainly to read music books, though I did recently read the Steig Larsson Millennium trilogy, the first was great, the second quite good and the third shite.
I'm about to add 250 yards (horizontal) and 100ft (vertical) to my cycle ride home.
I paid Skinku that tenner
BSP have been great again since Man of Aran
I've never met Ethyl but sometimes exchange Facebook comments, as is the modern way.
Never seen Downton other than on TV Burp
I'm usually on a train while forumites are onUC, so just follow the abuse they get on twitter instead.
I've found what I'm looking for and my street has a name.

[FBI Scanbot] We have run an official state of the forum update as requested. The most recent breakdown is as follows:

Self-publicising gobshites 6%

Are you sure this data is correct ? Seems a bit low to me.

I am also no grumpier than I always have been, that is to say I am extremely grumpy, but these days specialise in sulking.
I still work in local govt, which could explain the above and my lack of imagination.
I have just read The Fatal Shore by Robert Hughes, which was ace. I'm now struggling with Wuthering Heights, which is shit; There's about 10 characters and 3 surnames. We're not all inbred in Yorkshire. Actually...
I currently own 4 bikes, which is down from last year's peak of 5. Only ride them one at a time though.
I also own loads of BSP records but prefer them live as I always get blathered and love singing along loudly. You should hear me joining in during The Great Skua.
I have met Nora Dindian, who's a top lad and 5 Not Out who's even older than me and I think I could pick out that Cath lass in an id parade. Oh and there's a bloke at work who's a big BSP fan and might be on here but doesn't seem to want to talk to me.
I don't watch Downton, but I appeared for 0.5 seconds in the last series of Spooks.
I really like University Challenge but Mrs Heartland is usually hogging the telly. I wouldn't mind, but it's always some shit on Catch-Up.
If anyone can British Sea Power can
Has anybody seen Woody, Noble and Yan?
