As per usual, offers of lifts, spare beds, cheap digs, spare tickets, and so forth. Tickets sold out at SeeTickets, but available from the venue as discussed in this thread...

Accommodation in Stockton is limited, however Middlesbrough isn't too far away. That's where I'm booked, anyhow.

I've done some research for tonight (ooh! get me!), and I reckon the most interesting pub is a micro called Golden Smog. Address is 1 Hambletonian Yard, TS18 1DS - up a ginnel off High Street, apparently. Close to the venue too.

For anyone stopping over in Middlesbrough like me, Golden Smog looks slightly nearer to Thornaby railway station rather than Stockton's. Thornaby also appears to be served by more trains, though they don't go that late.

The Smog is very good but is very small.
If it gets too crowded then near by are;
The Looking Glass, Hope and Union and Wasps Nest which are well worth checking out.
As for stations not much difference at all distance wise but if your staying in Middlesbrough then Thornaby is the right choice.
