Kristmas Krankie, The Haunt, Brighton, Friday 19 December

Now then, good people, what's the plan? I arrive at 16:52, if the trains are on time. How's about any early arrivals (Liam, Dero, I'm looking at you) meeting in the Evening Star, then check in at Travelodges or wherever, reconvening in The Hop Poles, unless anyone can think of somewhere closer to the venue?

Sounds good. Is it the Hop Poles again now? In case it isn't, It's the one we always used to meet in pre-Krank - in Middle Street.
Kevo or Matthew Wood? Malevolence or good?

It's The Hop Poles on Google Maps. It's a bit small though, isn't it? And wasn't it shut for a private function last year?

Still called The Hop Poles, but was rammed when we were down the other week on a non Christmas Friday, we ended up going for tea in Sticky Mike's which wasn't (rammed, that is) and does really nice pizza and cocktails. Pretty much next to each other anyway. I have no idea when we will get to Brighton ourselves anyway, as Nick doesn't get back from the US til Friday morning (and that's assuming no plane fuckery), so we'll probably just text someone and find you all.
And I asked, "Are you dreaming about a crow?"
And there she was....

I'm an early arrival if and only if the four trains I'm getting down from Stirling on that day are all on time.. so we'll see how that goes eh?

Provisionally see you in the Hop Pole or whatever you decide closer to the time!

Your sheer optimism is impressive.

I'll check into the hotel and leave the key on the door. I've got some cheap fags for Tricky which I'll leave on your bed, if you could take them to the hotel in London for him.

Only got four days and a few countries to get through, and I think about 5,500 miles to go. So Qatar, U.A.E., Ireland, and England...

I'm tired already...

May not be hitting pre gig drinking venues until 7.30/8 with kid drop, hotel checkin, stuff, would be handy if some one can run a we-are-drinking-beer-here-up-date here, or of course just the normal thing and see anyone i know in the venue ...

Are we doing Sticky Mikes then? My mate with the tix isn't in town until 8/8.30 so will be roaming around. Probably at Sidewinder until 7/7.30..
