RIP Idris Muhamed.

This is from the first bunch of albums I bought after getting my first 'proper' Hi Fi system at 16, and sounded brilliant through the Tanoy Devons which nearly 40 years on, I've still got.

It's still one of the finest sounding bits of disco drumming ever, and a great rocking guitar outro - skip to 7:10 if you can't sit through the whole 8+ minutes:

Thanks - that's brilliant, and not a track I knew (it not being on the one compilation that I own).

I had the privilege of seeing him perform at The Astoria - a performance arranged and recorded by British Satellite Broadcasting (in pre-Sky days) just as he was making a come-back and only a few months before the tragic accident that paralysed him.
