A Strange Communication

bought a house in Sheffield
got married
had 2 kids
got an Act of Parliament passed (with a bit of help)
been to Centre Parcs 3 times
seen very few films at the cinema
only been to see Forest about 20 times
seen BSP 3 times
gained a lot of grey hair
bought 2 pairs of specs
been to the dentist once

Dressed up like an idiot at my first BSP gig.
Lost my virginity.
Finished school.
Listened to far more music than is really healthy.
Gone to university in Manchester.
Drunk far more alcohol than is really healthy.
Made a few incredibly close friends - so close that one felt able to tell only myself and his girlfriend about apparent erectile dysfunction. Which made me feel oddly good. Happily that particular issue is now resolved.
Played in a really good band before leaving at exactly the wrong time.
Disgraced myself on many occasions, none of which I shall repeat here.
Got pissed in Zakynthos and Berlin.
Finished university.
Got good grades without doing any work at all.
Fell madly, utterly and completely in love.
Cried my arse off on a train when I said goodbye to her for the last time after she decided she had to return to her native country. I understood, and will (probably) be visiting her this Summer. I do not yet know if that is a very good idea.
Taken drugs at Bestival, despite having only previously smoked weed a couple of times back in school and not really liking at, and having perhaps the best weekend of my life.
Got home and discovered that my Gran, who I was close to, had died whilst I was on the ferry. My family had decided not spoil my weekend by telling me while I was there. I had thought my Mum sounded rather odd when I called her to tell her I'd arrived safely (may sound a bit Mummy's boy-ish, but it keeps her happy).
Done virtually nothing that could be called work since.

Gone for a walk.
Ate cake.
