Pre-gig meet up if anyone fancies a beer before is at the Pride of Spitalfields in Heneage Street, just off Brick Lane - a great little traditional East London boozer, about 2 mins walk from Rough Trade East.

Will it be fish or possibly cheese?

How do you think I feel, having popped along to the pub before the gig with my mum (or Mom in your language) for a quick beer and to say hello to bsp pals before then going home and missing the gig? I really should have dragged her along, and wanted to but she was knackered after her day out.

Lovely to meet her anyway Gary!

That was a top quality little blast, "all killer no filler", beautifully thought out, excellently done set. Better than a lot of full length gigs I've seen them do and well worth taking the afternoon off to get to. I might have some photos but they'll be shit so don't hold your breath.

Made it to Didcot anyway, having a massive pre-Truck breakfast, weather looking lovely this morning, gonna be a good one - hope everyone else has a top weekend and see some of you at Kendal :)

I agree with you about these short in-stores sometimes proving as memorable and worthwhile as 'proper' gigs. The HMV Open Season gig was blistering, for example. And I remember fondly Fakir and Out of My Mind on Dope and Speed in that little record shop in Edinburgh. Or at least, I think I do!

If twitter is to be believed there were only 40 people there. True?
