Every time I see a thread like this I automatically start checking for flights, just for a laugh.

ETA: found a return for 100 Euro...*grinds teeth*

Thanks, Plebo. As Skinku said, good deal indeed. Will you go, sir?
No Paranoia, I didn't even bother to look at the dates. There's no chance I'd make it anyway, unless the book launch is in summer 2011!

Enjoy, one and all. £12, a gig and a book. Bargainous.

Yeah, I am not going to give in to this particular temptation.
Hong Kong, eh? Probably not the best location for bargain flights to Britain. But do safe up for 2011, I have a feeling it will be an excellent BSP year.

Bargain flights to Britain do not exist. In fact, it's got a lot more expensive since the Lehman Brothers went bust. The only good thing about being in HK is, if and when BSP comes over again, it is guaranteed to be a fairly exclusive affair. I am saving my money for Tan Hill III or "Pie Island I". I should probably update my location. I am not even in HK anymore.

I've been to a few of the instore gigs there. They are all supposed to begin at 7pm, tho bands often don't actually start till 7.30 or later. The gigs I've been to there have varied in length from about 20 mins to an hour.
Will it be fish or possibly cheese?

Hi there. Have just joined the forum. But been a looker in for a while. Just to say I went down Rough Trade today and bought the book. And they gave me two wrist bands not one. So that works out even better me thinks!

Cheers

For those not in London, I phoned the shop today and they said if you order online make sure you put a note in the comments / notes bit that you want the wristband too, which I did, and they emailed me back saying book and wristband have been reserved to collect on the day.

If I were the BSP guitarist, I'd be a bit nervous about this gig.

I've just been up to the Rough Trade shop to buy the book / get my wristband and I couldn't help noticing that the adjoing occupier is called "Execution Noble".
