BSP are playing gigs again. But this time its in the new age of Twitter. Here's what people are saying:

Saw British Sea Power last night, they were great though am a bit deaf in my right ear today!

(from Sam Elliot, London Councils Labour Group political adviser.) What better way to end an irritating day than seeing The Best Band In The World What Doesn't Have Bruce Springsteen In It. / TBBITWWDHBSII is obviously British Sea Power. Come from the sunset, come from the sea, come from your sorrows, come wander with me.

As a rule, British Sea Power fans seem to have very long arms.

Is it a bit weird how a troupe as handsome and romantic as British Sea Power only seem to attract lots of chaps in specs?

British Sea Power were awesome as ever. Very excited we're getting a new album soonish

British Sea Power kicked some major London ass!

(simon price) Brighton's ruined West Pier lit up by lasers tonight, then an 'intimate' British Sea Power gig at Audio. Excitement!

What's interesting about them is the extent to which the media now harvest tweets in the same way as I have just done in order to fill space (broadcast time or print) with vox pops collected without the necessity of actually going out onto the streets to collect them. I think that's a big change.

In the context of this forum, I think it may be mildly interesting to recycle tweets here, if only to bring a fresh voice from beyond these blue borders.

"British Sea Power kicked some major London ass"

I don't need to see that. I don't need to see that kind of thing at all. Who wrote it? Billy Joel?
What goes through the mind of someone just before they write something like that?
It's certainly not refreshing to read that, it's un-freshing, depressing and, no messing, supressing.
But i'm digressin'..

Better than courting a kangaroo if the Sheilas are in short supply.

I have no burning desire to know what cereal Katie Price is having for fucking breakfast, less than no interest in who Stephen Fry shagged last night and never want to hear from Robbie Fucking Williams ever, unless he is posting to say that he is being tortured to death,in which case I want a webcam installed immediately in order that I can best advise his captors.
