Reporting for duty. Doing Hebden Bridge, Nottingham & Folkestone. Worth bearing in mind the instores will be early doors. 1800 for Nottingham?

Re: Record store appearances. Probably best if someone talks to the band and the record stores, and ensures they’re on the same page*

* Then there won’t be a balls-up like HMV Manchester, when the release of Valhalla D was scheduled in 2011. On this occasion, both band and record store assumed that the other would provide the PA. As neither did, a 5 pint afternoon became a very ugly 10 pint afternoon / early evening.

There's no problem with the Rough Trade and Banquet Records (at Pryzym) sets. They have been putting on instore gigs for a number of years.
Rough Trade East has a good in-house PA and sound desk and has the capacity for 300 for their instore performances.

I worked out nice for me indeed, will be doing Kingston and Rough Trade East, even thinking of taking the kids to the local one as its an 14+ early doors ..

…And as it’s high time they did a gig 10 minutes away from my front door, I read this morning that they’ve obliged in good style.

Long Division festival, Wakefield, 11th June.

Apparently this round of shows will be stripped back, no Abi or Phil, but also not acoustic guitars and sandals. So two boos and a cheer.

Hopefully full power Sea Power from April.

I was at Nottingham tonight, short gig, very small place but a brilliant night. The material worked fine in the stripped-down form. Queued up to get one of the sleeves from the box set autographed and Yan recognised me, presumably from my frequent forays down the front over the last few years. Made my night!

The new material came across very well. Especially Green Goddess and Doppelganger.

At Shrewsbury last night. Excellent show. Anyone know what the instrumental was they started with?
From the new album they played Transmitter, Two Fingers, Fire escape, Doppelganger, Folly, Green Goddess, Lakeland Echo (outstanding), We Only Want to Make You Happy and ?Fear Eats the Soul. They played a few older ones including Carrion. Encore: No Lucifer, Waving Flags (well they had to after whats happening in Ukraine - but made no comment) & Skua with local boy Phil starring on cornet. Only Abi was missing.
Anyone got the full set list?
