December Gigs???

Postby Gorfield » Thu Jun 29, 2017 11:00 am

I am really really hoping this happens this year more than ever.

I am currently knocked up and missing out on lots of alcohol fuelled gigs.. being due in November what would be better than A Sea Power mosh in December at the Venue again??
I messaged the Venue and asked if its on again this year.. they said they are " working on it"

gives me hope. ( longest 9 months of my life)

They're not going to not do a festive gig, are they?

Would be nice to try somewhere different this year, though Derby is I suppose quite central. Another double bubble maybe, but could happily live without ever going to Wimbledon again.

And on a somewhat selfish level, not clashing with Mogwai weekend (or at least BSP announcing their festive plans at some point before said Mogwai gigs on 15th & 16th sell out so I can work out which I can go to) would also be good :)
And I asked, "Are you dreaming about a crow?"
And there she was....

is Louth not east enough for you? :)

Please Mr Manager, can we have Derby on Friday 17 December, and oooh, shall we say Colchester on Saturday 18 December?

I quite like the Waterfront and not been there in ages. Though if we're going east then surely they can find a more ridiculous place than Norwich. Somewhere like Peterborough, or even give us a proper travel challenge and do Felixstowe.

These are not real dates. Not this year anyway. There are however dates called Friday 15th and Saturday 16th December. One of which I intend to spend watching Mogwai (or both, if BSP aren't doing any that weekend).

Any date in December in Derby is good for me. The people of Derby have taken bsp into their hearts. Once I saw a lathe made out of Christian beliefs. I'm going camping in buxton in a few weeks if anyone fancies coming?

You got me all excited with thoughts of a Colchester gig, but unless they want to support John cooper Clarke, not going to happen.

Well, the days are wrong, as has been noted. Would Friday 15th work better?
