To be honest, I'm a tad disappointed it's not the Albert Hall in Bolton.
Do it for the Butthole Surfers.

and looking at the line up it’s a gig put together by Marc Riley so he can walk home after seeing his fav bands, but I think in the opposite direction to Blackout.. (that a guess by the way,,)

tempted

But after my five years in Manchester I did promise never to return, but it’s mostly Stockports fault …

It says it's till late - is there any idea what time BSP will finish? I assume 11ish as usual, with the lateness being Marc Riley DJing?

Presumably. The 5pm doors would indicate an early start to the live music to accommodate the bill, and I have never known a live gig there go on past 11 (there are probably restrictions: not a residential area but some quite posh hotels nearby).
And I asked, "Are you dreaming about a crow?"
And there she was....

Cool, I think I'll book up. It's a shame I've missed early-bird prices, but I was still in France and don't pay much attention to news when I'm away (I wondered if I'd be coming back to a new PM yesterday, which is what happened when I went away last year). By the way, I think I walked past you and another BSP gig-attendee in Paris a day or 2 after the gig, but I'm bad at recognising people so I'm not sure. Quite a coincidence in such a big city! Myself and the friend I went to the gig with also ended up in the same cemetery at 10am on the day of the gig, when we weren't due to meet until 4pm...

I hope some more bands I like are announced for The Albert Hall. Apart from BSP, they're all bands I like 1 or 2 songs by.

DICE app has not quite the early bird price but cheaper than you will get elsewhere (no booking fees). Use them quite a bit.

its highly likely I could be in labour :( if only it was a month later!!!

but on the other hand I have asked the Venue in derby if they will be back in December and they said they are WORKING ON IT!!!

better make sure I keep my pelvic floor muscles in check if there is a derby gig or I will probably wet myself!

I'm very much looking forward to this, The Albert Hall is probably my favourite Manchester venue. I was quite surprised when the Ritz (probably my least favourite Manchester venue) was announced for the album launch tour earlier this year as I thought The AH would be perfect for BSP
