Gigs in July

Postby The Good Doctor » Tue Dec 27, 2016 9:48 am

Are there any plans for BSP to play some gigs in the July? I'll be visiting the UK then and it's been 8 years since I last saw them.

At a guess i'd say there will probably be at least one, somewhere. They usually get a fair few summer festival bookings, and even if the festivals themselves are not to your taste or to your budget's taste then (going by the past few years) they often do a little headline gig somewhere the same weekend, and hopefully with a new album on the way this should happen this year too...
And I asked, "Are you dreaming about a crow?"
And there she was....

Is that still going? It's one of those festivals that always looks like it's about to run out of money.

Not being one for the camping festivals, I hope they do Tramlines in Sheffield, or similar urban-type dos, preferably with easy public transport access.
Do it for the Butthole Surfers.

Yeah it's one of those where you stick the address into Googlemaps and then zoom out, and out, and out again, looking for any size of civilisation that might have a Travelodge. And you realise the location is best described as "vaguely near Stevenage"... :)

It was, for a time, being funded by Tesco - albeit unknowingly: http://www.nme.com/news/music/various-a ... 84-1287356

BTW We did it a few years back when BSP last played there and stayed in a Travelodge, I can't recall exactly where, but it was a good 15 minutes drive, so not really practicable/affordable for or those without a car.
