Champions League Music

Postby deathorglory » Thu Sep 17, 2015 12:41 pm

So according to twitter BSP have written "some music" for the BT Sport Champions league coverage.

I was half watching the Arsenal game last night and failed to notice it, was anyone listening out for it?

I am eager to hear some new BSP music, but less eager to watch some foot ball. In fact, I don't even know what the BT Sport Champions league is.

Is there anywhere I can hear this without watching BT?

As someone who never subscribed to BT Sports to watch the footy, I was pretty happy I managed to stumble across these last night.
Not sure if it's the correct thing to do in posting it here, and I'll remove it if there's any objections, but thought it might be nice for people to hear the snippets BSP did for the Champions League coverage on BT a few years ago.

Nice one for posting that. I do recall thinking that 'Neutral' sounded like them, but as it's a slight variation of the official Champions League music(the end of it anyway) I thought maybe it came from UEFA. Very cool though. BT use that a few times during every match! Usually when they are just about to or are just returning from an ad break. I watch too much football.

Football is brilliant
How would they survive back in the wild?

BSP's lovely football music has been retained by BT Sport for another Champions League season. Back of the net Nobby!

And 'Oily Stage' used on Football Focus on Saturday to accompany a splendid feature on Brighton & Hove Albion.
Kevo or Matthew Wood? Malevolence or good?

Also, the instrumental version of Bad Bohemian continues into the new season to be the post-match music played over the PA as the crowd files out of Craven Cottage after each game.

We've been surprisingly shit at home so far in this campaign, but I don't think that's connected with the song being played.
Rock music: Dulwich Hamlet FC

I heard BSP played on something a few weeks ago, but I can't remember what. I don't watch much TV, so I'm guessing it was either Dangerous Borders on BBC2 or Levison Wood's trip from Russia to Iran.
