Has this been mentioned yet? Looks like a cracking line-up, with Sea Power scheduled for Sunday in the Sage. Wonder if it's a Sea of Brass do?

Yes, it looks absolutely wonderful.
Just one point - so many good shows and it's always the south east (esp. that London) and t'north.
There are other parts of the UK with very many rabid music fans. We can't all afford the time nor the money to travel to these splendid events.
Spread the love around.
I know, moaning again. Just making a point.

Yes. Stop playing so many gigs in that Lilliputian hamlet known as 'The North'.
I'd rather play noughts and crosses with you.

I might be wrong, but I think they said it wouldn't be a Sea of Brass show on 6Music last night: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b050h4nf

Yep, definitely said it's a brass-free affair.

BSP seem to be listed at the bottom on one of the stages, suggesting they are first on.

Stage time when known would be appreciated.

I think you are right. The Charlatans headline the Sunday night in Gateshead, and BSP are scheduled to play first, with various artists in between.

It would be good to know whether the set will be broadcast, and if so when.

With multiple venues (King Creosote is opening that day at another venue), editorial decisions will determine who gets played on the radio on Sunday.

Seems doors at 6 Music Festival are 5pm – for the section where BSP feature.

BSP due on stage 5.30pm.

Highlights from the festival will be on the red button too - hopefully BSP will feature!

The radio broadcast gave us what feels like only the first four of a longer set..

1.Remember Me
2.Waving Flags
3.The Great Skua
4.No Lucifer

Anyone know if they played anything else once the live broadcast switched over to other things?

Just Carrion into an extended All In It ending after that. They only had half an hour. It was a brilliant half hour though, and lots of love for them from a crowd that for the most part was not really their own. Put it this way, a lot of people had clearly never heard about the bear before. (Bear had much fun posing for selfies with them).

I am pretty sure that whilst introducing them, Lamacq said they were doing a new album this year - but I could have misheard and he could have been wrong.

Wire were great too, rather brutal at times (especially for half six in the evening in what looked basically like a conference centre - they were on the "concourse" stage) which I liked, especially when some people had to retreat from the front because they'd basically played a cacophonous noise for about five minutes, after which point my weekend caught up with me and I was forced to choose acts based on whether there was anywhere to sit down. Managed to revive myself slightly for Public Service Broadcasting though whom I enjoyed a lot more than I had expected, still can't abide that recent single but all the rest of the new stuff was really good.
And I asked, "Are you dreaming about a crow?"
And there she was....

Yeah Lamacq did say album later in the year. BSP were surprisingly great considering the predictable setlist.

A lovely weekend all round. Mogwai were probably my highlight but saw lots of good stuff over the weekend.
