It just took me about 10 minutes to find it on the 6music site, so here's the link for anyone else wanting to catch up:

Also, as mentioned in the last Newsboost, go to 2hrs 51mins here for 'A Warm Wind Blows Through the Grass' - best of the bunch, in my opinion. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04yqndq
Have a listen, Wendelin. Go on.

I listened. Then I listened again. I liked it. Then I had a Bunnahabhain and listened again. and I liked it.
much better than the album version. Not as good as its big brother, Nocturnal Me, but I liked it.

Nape-tickling stuff loud and live, though you've reminded me how much Scotch I put away that night and how terribly sorry for myself I felt the following morning.
I take your point about the Bunnymen song, to some extent.

Hardly worth making a new post, but Tom Ravenscroft played We Are Sound from the 6music 2011 session tonight, and it's the full version, with that glorious middle 8.. I really really can't fathom why that was cut from VD; anyone shed any light on it?!

Ah well. Fantastic version too. Does anyone have an MP3 of this session?

I heard Mongk too, but not sure when.

Meanwhile Stuart Maconie featured Man of Aran on his Freakier Zone looking at modern soundtracks to silent films.
