Lovely light on that cake, Dero.

A rare and golden ray of Glaswegian sunshine.

Cake update: remarkably intact after a trip to Stirling in my backpack - may it survive just as well on the trip to Brighton...

hello all.

My first post on here... although have been a regular browser of this board for the best part of 10 years and know some of you from gigs.
Cake looks tremendous, I recall the legendary Kristmas Krankenhaus cake in 2012!

Excitement building... about to set off from Cardiff to Brighton, have a spare ticket which am hoping to find a good home for.

well that was rather special. I am only just recovering now.
Here is what they played from the set list:

K hole
Who's in control
Apologies
Remember me
Scottish Wildlife
Trip Out
Mongk
Lucifer
Zeus
Kwh
Louis
Lately - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. they had it on the set list but didn't play it. Alfie, you can imagine how excited and then deeply disappointed I was about this. I saw the setlist and the beginning and was looking forward to it so much :(

Fantastic night though. Loved the Krautrock section, the gaffer tape mahem, Nellie on the tambourine and Dero's cake.

Hopefully they will do a few more of these again

Plus the extended 'Loving Animals' with at least four increasingly thrashy false endings. Nice fat slice of Ham in last night's sandwich.

I've got bruises on my arms and legs. So it must have been a good night. Some photos from last night. Somehow the camera got through the gig untouched. But I'm really glad I decided to leave my big camera in the hotel room.

When they played Outta my Mind on Dope and Speed I nearly shat myself.

Then when Colin Newman came on for a krautrock jam, I nearly shat myself several times.

To be honest, I'm surprised I got to the end of the night and DIDN'T shit myself.

I can testify to this. It was very sweet, given you had already said that you would be so excited if they did Dope and Speed as part of the Krautrock section.
how's it going to end?
