Warm Wind

Postby pressbutton » Fri Jun 27, 2014 10:02 pm

It's festival season. Noble and I once hitched a ride on a hazy, lazy Glastonbury night in '93, stood on the back step of a transit van, illicit passengers soaking in the atmosphere as we were driven around the site, wide eyed ad excited. Happy times as warm winds brought joyous sounds to excited ears as the stars and my mind went through what physicists would call a period of rapid inflation.

So a gift. For festival goers, arm chair viewers, nostalgic veterans, dreamers and music lovers everywhere, a twist on a BSP classic....

As good as the 'Retreat' one, perfect for this balmy Sunday morning.

For some reason I am thinking of wanking off a shark.

That's a beautiful variation, pressbutton.

You must both have been very young, back in 1993.

I like the clog-thumping rusticity of the original, but your ethereal electronica production is very good, and could perhaps endear this song to a wider audience.

As for wanking off a shark Mr Skinku, I hope that he or she has to pay for that service, just like the rest of us.

This.
Both versions have an underlying spookiness which is ace ;)
