Interview with Yan

Postby kevo » Sun Feb 09, 2014 11:24 pm

Excellent in-depth interview with Yan in 'Brighton's Finest' (thanks Bancroft Boy). Agree with him about the bears - preferred it when there was just one cantankerous one and they didn't take over the whole show!

Well, if he doesn't like the bears, just bloody drop them!

Noticed a rather glaring error in the interview - 'From The Land To The Sea'? What's that then?
Do it for the Butthole Surfers.

Haha, I wish someone would wipe bi-polar's soppy smile off his face. Polar bears are sposed to be ferocious, y'know.... BSP used to have a sense of danger about them, now we have a big cuddly toy doing running slides across the stage.

He looks like a groovy art teacher.

Oh, Eamon. Good luck to him, but I think the band should kidnap him and return him forcibly to the fold during their next US tour. I wonder if he's sworn the Oath of Allegiance, yet? If not, when the time comes I hope he gets mixed up and recites the lyrics to 'Cheney' instead.

Good interview that.
If you hate the bears Yan, get rid of them.
They annoy me now, the sense of wonderment has left.

I'm amazed nobody else mentioned that - as I can't access the interview link at work (read it once at home, not been by my computer much since) I was starting to wonder if I'd actually imagined it. Teasing little beast. Probably is real, but may not be fully confirmed....... so come on you fuckers, give us a date at least.
And I asked, "Are you dreaming about a crow?"
And there she was....

Awww. I know I should bemoan any wonderful songwriter /musician giving it all up for something else (I mean - how dare he stop entertaining us!), but I just can't help feeling happy that he is out there somewhere, doing something else that he (hopefully) loves. I hope he thrives.
how's it going to end?
