I remember you mentioning this before, and not long after I started thinking about how it would work. I'd figured out characters and the like, and then realised I was taking it far too seriously when Communist Daughter didn't seem to fit with the plot in my head (needed to be earlier on to introduce the character).

Being Neutral Milk Hotel pushed Jeff Mangum over the edge, didn't it? Apparently he could barely function for years after making...Aeroplane. Presumably he's better now.

Grgghh, another band I love plays the venue I most want to go to that I haven't yet, on a flipping week night when I can't afford the time off. I shall pretend I am holding out for BSP to do it so can't possibly go and see anyone else there until they do. Yes, that's right. If I say it enough I might believe it..............
And I asked, "Are you dreaming about a crow?"
And there she was....

It's not that great a music venue, really - it's the rest of the building that makes it special.
Perfect for BSP, however, and I remain perplexed they've never played there. Yet...

Neither the De La Warr Pavilion or the following night in the less-attractive Leeds University are listed on the band's website. They really are doing a very big tour...

That Jabberwocky thing looks rather tasty, doesn't it? Could be talked into going for the Saturday...

Leeds? Blimey o'fuckery. Not sure I'll be able to convince Nick to do another one* but I'm having some of that.

* I suppose I could just get you to mention it next time we're in the pub, that seemed to work for Incubate :)

Come, you know you want to.

Will that do?

Yes, that'll do. Sorry about the other, by the way.

DLWP is a pain to get to but lovely, bloody weird area of the world but boy that staircase gives me a woody!
If I wasn't encased in concrete and idle by a trick of nature I would make the effort.

My toddler loves that staircase. Here she is preparing to test Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation last weekend.

Shit, sorry. Didn't mean to give you confused feeling about your favourite staircase.

Has anyone been into Heal's on Tottenham Court Road in London? The staircase is awesome.

Anyway, I think a discussion about staircases is one step too far.
