In that case I ain'treeting myself to the gig.

Good punning, sir.

A hotel in Liverpool is out of the question, that's for sure. I could get a taxi back to Pudsey cheaper than a room in the Travelodge.

So, that'll be last train to Manchester (an experience I'm told we should all experience once in our lives), then hang around at Piccadilly for an hour for an airport train back to Leeds.

Unless anyone has any better ideas...?

I could give you a lift back to Leeds. I have tickets for Liverpool but am notorious for buying gig tickets and not actually going. However, if I was giving someone a lift I would have to motivate myself to go!

I have a suggestion - shall we have all the lift-, hotel - & floor share type stuff over in the Meet Ups section? Also things like spare tickets, and of course the pubs to meet in. That might make things a wee bit easier to navigate...

Songkick has just suggested that there's an second, earlier Liverpool date on Friday 4th:

Is that correct? I can't find anything else to confirm it.

Only one date. It was originally wrongly advertised as the 4th, but has been corrected to the 5th.

It was advertised as the 4th at the start when they were planning to do a show in Sunderland on Saturday. Hopefully it'll happen one day, they were arranging to play in a shipyard (think I read that on Twitter).

And in case anyone didn't know about the change of Liverpool date, only this very morning I received an email from the ticket vendor about it.

Finally got around to this

Doing Bristol, London, Holmfirth, York, Falmouth, Reading and Cambridge

I'd like to do Liverpool, and I'd like to do the northern tour but I don't think I'll have time. Shame - I quite fancy a bit of Scotland now and then.

The fact they haven't is, quite honestly, starting to look like some sort of conspiracy.
