British coast...BSP...without hearing a single note or seeing a single image I can safely say that I am going to love this.

Sounds like the ideal job opportunity for the band. Can't wait.

...are BSP playing? depends how you read it...

The film of From the Sea to the Land Beyond is directed by award winning
film-maker Penny Woolcock and will premiere at Sheffield Doc/Fest on 13
June in the Crucible Theatre, with a live musical score composed and
performed by British Sea Power. Says Penny Woolcock, "To be offered the
chance to direct such a lyrical cinematic piece is an absolute dream request, I
leapt at the chance to do it."

...so it's either a simple film viewing or film + BSP

Tickets on sale on the 14th, think I'll go anyway just to see what it sounds like.

It was put up on the BSP website a couple of days ago - they'll be performing a live soundtrack.

Sheffield, ace! Just as long as the band don't start tweeting about the suitability of the venue and pressing for the performance to be moved to China.

Praise the Lord you all look so beautiful
Bulging waistcoats, thirty inch of neck
Shine your shoes and head for the Crucible
Brush the baize and keep the crowd in check

Looks like I'll be turning up to work late and spending my Monday morning cueing up outside the crucible for tickets.
